On June 1st we transferred these two perfect little embabies. When I saw them I cried, partly because they were so beautiful but mostly because Matt wasn’t allowed in the building for this transfer so we didn’t get to see them for the first time together. On June 10th we had our first pregnancy test and that evening our nurse called and told us we were pregnant. We reserved our celebration for the next test day and found all the hope we had. While I was pregnant (and the nurse reassured us she had seen this before and it worked out fine in the end) my HCG wasn’t as high as we hoped. Two days later I went in and my HCG had dropped confirming our fears, we were losing our third pregnancy. Life has been a roller coaster of amazing days and hard days, HCG tests and phone calls since then. One test it will be up, one it will be down, but never back to zero. Today, I went in for another blood test and thankfully my HCG was finally back to 0. We’re going to take the summer to enjoy some relaxing down time and schedule our next transfer for sometime this fall. We’re extremely sad to be walking this road again. We are grasping for what little hope we have left and relying on those around us to hope for us when we aren’t able to. ❤️

Frozen embryo transfer cycle #7 here we come (hopefully)! After cancelling our cycle in March our clinic is opening up and beginning transfers in June. I had my baseline blood work done last week and our clinic is taking every precaution possible. We started injections on Friday and our transfer will be June 1st. This cycle will be unlike any cycle we have done. is my rock and level headed support but due to covid he will be unable to attend any of our appointments and most likely will not be able to be with me for our embryo transfer. I’ve thought a lot about it over the last few days and have so many feelings. I’m mostly just so thankful that we live in an area that is able to cautiously move forward with fertility treatments because many are not able to. I’m also a little (or a lot) scared to be opening ourselves back up to the potential for more pain. We are hopeful though and are more than ready to be moving forward.
