Protecting Fullerton Train Station’s New Glass—Before Damage Strikes Again

Graffiti Shield is back at the Fullerton Train Station—this time addressing the exterior elevator glass just months after the station received a major facelift.

As shown in the video, the damage is extensive—one panel completely shattered, another marked with pellet or BB impact points leaving small holes throughout, along with heavy scratching and acid etching. It’s a clear example of how quickly unprotected glass in high-traffic public spaces can deteriorate.

With new replacement windows recently installed by the city, the priority was clear: protect the glass immediately before the same damage happens again.

Graffiti Shield responded by installing a customized Glass Shield Multi-Layer system to the exterior elevator glass. This system provides multiple layers of optically clear, sacrificial film in a single install—allowing for fast, on-site maintenance if vandalism occurs. Instead of replacing glass, a damaged layer can simply be peeled away to reveal a fresh surface underneath.

The result is a clean, polished look backed by a proactive solution built for durability.

Back to Basics at See's Candies: A Fresh Look with Silver 20 Exterior Film

Graffiti Shield recently completed a transformation project at See’s Candies in Carson, bringing new life to a storefront that had seen better days. This installation featured our Silver 20 Exterior Tint Film, a classic, high-performance solution that proves sometimes the most effective approach is going back to basics.

The existing window film had become cracked, aged, and difficult to see through—diminishing both visibility and the overall appearance of the storefront. Our team removed the deteriorated material and replaced it with a clean, precisely cut application of Silver 20 film.

Using a slitter, we custom-cut each piece of solar film on-site to ensure an exact fit and a clean, professional finish. This hands-on process highlights the craftsmanship behind every installation and allows for consistent, high-quality results across each pane.

Because this film is installed on the exterior, proper edge sealing is critical. Our team carefully sealed all edges to protect against moisture, dirt, and environmental exposure—helping to extend the life of the film and maintain its performance over time.

The difference is immediate and impactful. The new reflective surface delivers a fresh, modern look while enhancing privacy and reducing heat and glare. More importantly, it adds a layer of protection for both the interior space and those inside—improving comfort, safety, and overall appearance.
