California just made a historic investment in public education: $1 billion every year for community schools.
Community schools are public schools that go beyond academics – bringing together students, families, educators, and community organizations to provide health care, mental health support, and the kind of relationship-centered learning environments where students actually thrive.

On May 19th, Fullerton residents refused to be silenced. After the council majority cancelled a scheduled city council meeting, neighbors, business owners, and community advocates came together to do what elected officials wouldn't show up.
When the Council doors were closed, the community opened its own. 🏡✊
What unfolded was something powerful: a people-led public forum where Fullerton voices filled the room with concerns, dreams, and a shared vision for our city. From supporting local businesses to addressing the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors, every comment was a reminder that civic life doesn't belong to a few — it belongs to all of us.
This is what democracy looks like when the community leads.
💼 Opportunities for local businesses.
🤝 Real solutions for real community needs.
🏘️ A Fullerton that is truly a Home for All.
Because when elected leaders cancel the conversation, the people don't go home — they build their own table.
