Gutted by the loss of this legend. Sam Keith's art got me into comics with his mesmerizing Sandman. His dark, broody, heavy line style instantly hooked me. I loved his play on shadows and the balance he struck between the light and the dark.

His MAXX series was genius. No other word to describe it or his talents. Rest easy Sam, and thank you.
