Centerpoint Knight Softball

As we close the book on this season, it’s not the ending we wanted, falling in the second round of district, but this group has a lot to be proud of.
Most wins in school history (14)
Most doubles in a season (64)
Most home runs in a season (12)

Several incredible individual records broke:
KK Davis (Fr.)- Most HBP/BB in a season 20 (2/18)
Preslee Richardson (So.)- tied for most hits in a season (42), most RBI’s in a season (39), and now holds the most career home run record (6)
Chloe Arnold (So.)- most doubles in a season (14) and career doubles (24)

This season had a special group of seniors that helped build the foundation, set the standard, and left this program better than they found it.

Hayden Benedict: 3 year starter, .333OBP, 11 doubles, and a steady presence at 1st base

Kamilah Gonzalez: 3 year starter, 53 career hits, .303 avg, .422 OBP, 30 stolen bases, and a strong reliable arm behind the plate.

ShiAnna Rinkle: 4 year starter, .417 OBP, 38 BB/HBP, a defensive leader with a strong arm in the outfield.

I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to coach this group. This group showed up and continued to grow every day. The future is bright.
