Little Light Farm

Our little farmstand is open! Sundays 9-3. Never in my life did I think I would have such a professional looking roadside stand. Now all the folks who couldn’t get a CSA can grab some veggies in our neighborhood. Today we have blueberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and more.

Strawberries! Sunday at the and then on our farm stand throughout the week as availability allows.

Last night was what this entire dream was about. A community potluck bursting with good conversation, good food, and a lot of gratitude. It really cemented that this isn’t just a farm, it’s a COMMUNITY farm. Plus our first pickup for the CSA is complete! 19 more pickups to go.

First CSA harvest is in the books! All fueled by Workshare’s who come and harvest for 4 hours in exchange for a share. It was CRAZY having this many people helping me all at once after a year of mostly solo days here on the farm.
This week has shown me so many lessons. Today I learned so much about timing and procedure with a crew. Yesterday I learned that you shouldn’t install a brand new cooler system the night before your CSA harvest!! Shoutout to for the cooler support.
Every week a new challenge, every week a new success.
