Get out in the woods and start looking for these natural beauties after a good rain or when fall turns the woods into a decaying sanctuary, for these bad boys to feed and grow:

My trick is to find any mushroom then scan the area for edible mushrooms. Ask a friend or pick up a book on foraging. Be safe. Have fun. Send us any pics of your harvests!

Simplicity is key. Went out to hunt for dinner after work. Whipped up an easy fry all meal:

Breasted the pheasant for “chicken Sammy” style dish

Side order of fried mushroom and tenderloins. With some Brussels for our greens.

All it took was:
Your favorite batter to fry with, i used a beer batter for this. Add some Scallions, garlic, salt, pepper, and Cayenne to add some extra flavor. Kept it simple bc I was hungry!
