This design was inspired by a one of a kind vintage bag that I found at an estate sale last year. I developed my own version of that bag and have been testing the prototype for months. I have to say... this is my favorite Forestbound bag of all time! I know that's a big claim - but it truly is perfect.

Hello! I just finished listing over 30 new one of a kind tote bags that I've been working on all winter. You'll find a large number of patchwork totes which I personally love making - they take a lot of time, but it's an opportunity for me to sew with smaller fabric scraps and intentionally combine colors and patterns in a way that sparks a lot of creativity in me. I hope maybe you find one in this batch that speaks to you!

You'll also find a few bags made with pieces of USMC Cloud Camo which has become harder and harder for me to find. I've paired it with various pieces of khaki toned canvas and fun fact - the khaki pieces with burgundy colored stenciling came from an incredible 1940's era USMC shelter half that I used to make a special bag for Brad Pitt. I saved a few sections of the shelter half and have been slowly incorporating them into patchwork bags.
