Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by my shop this weekend or cheered me on from afar. I’m so happy that it’s been so well received. I feel so grateful and proud. Thank you! Now time to make more pots. I’ll be back at the shop Thurs 11-5, Sat 11-6, Sun 12-4. (And a big extra thank you to my friend Colleen for the photos of me).

An article about my shop opening! Thank you to Daily News of Newburyport for the feature. I’ll be open tomorrow 11-6, and Sunday 12-4. I’m calling this my “soft opening” with a more formal Grand Opening at some point soon. Unfortunately you can’t read the article unless you pay $1, but I’ll post the print version after I pick up a copy today.

It started with a whim: Barn Moth Studio opening in Amesbury this weekend AMESBURY — Art enthusiasts will feel right at home in Main Street’s new Barn Moth Studio, a stoneware pottery shop that is holding its soft opening this weekend.

A small collection of drawings I’ve been working on since the new year. Tried to stretch my brain and give myself a break from clay. These are all drawings of my pottery and my garden flowers. Oil pastels. Yesterday they got their protective fixative applied out on my porch. All will be framed and available in my store. (Feels weird to say “my store”, gah!)
