Knocked out this garage roof recently.

It had older 3-tab shingles that were worn down, so we upgraded it to architectural shingles for better durability.

We also found a small section of rotted decking and replaced the full sheet to make sure everything underneath was solid.

That’s the kind of stuff you won’t see from the ground, but it matters.

Now it’s built right and ready for the weather.

Lifted shingles allow water to get underneath.
Over time, that leads to decking damage and sagging.

From the ground, this roof looks fine… up close it’s a different story.

If you’re unsure about your roof, I can take a look and give you an honest answer.

This roof had multiple areas of damage marked — but the real issue was underneath.

There are spots with rotted decking, which means it’s been going on for a while.

With all the rain we’ve been getting, roofs like this only get worse.

If your roof looks similar, it’s worth getting it checked before it turns into leaks or interior damage.

When shingles lift or blow off, water can slowly damage the roof decking underneath. By the time it’s visible, the damage is often much worse.

If you notice missing shingles or want your roof checked, contact us today.

❄️🌨️ With strong winds and winter weather hitting Iowa again, it’s a good time to check on your roof.

High winds can lift shingles, expose weak spots, and lead to leaks once snow and ice begin to melt.

After storms like this, it’s common to see:
• missing or lifted shingles
• gutter stress from snow and ice
• early signs of ice dams

If you notice anything unusual or want your roof checked, we offer roof inspections and quotes.
