The shelter’s benches in the back, dedicated to Vic Moss, had become worn and weathered over time. Wanting to bring them back to life, we saw the perfect opportunity when our longest-standing employee, Troy—who has worked at The Bridge Home for 29 years and worked alongside Vic—recently celebrated his birthday.

To honor him, Robert (our overnight staff) and Ashley (Director of Operations) gathered supplies to restore the benches. Over the weekend, Robert put in the work—cutting, staining, and completely rebuilding them.

We invited Troy to the shelter, and he was in awe!🧡
