But if we really reflect on that a little bit, I mean, home is a sacred place that we go to rest and recharge. And I mean, it's our place. We have the opportunity to provide those 10,000 people with a place that they love.

And so that's a pretty high calling. And when the entire organization can get behind that idea of creating a community where somebody loves to live there, I think that's a unifying thing."

Today, we officially broke ground at our Attivo Trail Omaha location! This project wouldn't be possible without the support of our dedicated team members, developers, investors, and of course, our future residents. We can't wait to see this 55+ active living community come to life in the up-and-coming Avenue One district in spring of 2028.

Since 2024, Haverkamp Group has partnered with the Iowa DOT through the Adopt-a-Highway program. This morning, more than 30 team members volunteered in Slater to remove trash and other non-organic waste along our community’s highways.

Ames, Iowa — Haverkamp Group announces plans to develop Attivo Trail Omaha, a new luxury 55+ active adult community designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality, maintenance-free living options in the Omaha metro.

For more than 30 years, Haverkamp Group has built, acquired, and managed multifamily communities exclusively in Iowa. The expansion into Omaha marks the company’s first development outside the state and a strategic step forward in growing its Attivo Trail portfolio.

The Attivo Trail Omaha community will be part of the broader Avenue One development, a thoughtfully planned mixed-use destination that brings together residential, commercial, retail, and lifestyle elements to create a connected and vibrant environment for residents.
