Precis helps SPS Technologies launch a new era in aerospace manufacturing

Precis leaders were proud to help SPS Technologies launch a new era in aerospace manufacturing on Friday, 22 May 2026. A groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of construction on a 400,000-sf world-class aerospace products manufacturing facility – just 15 months after fire destroyed the previous facility.

“Being on site reinforced that this project is more than a rebuild,” said Precis Founding Principal and President Robert Dick, PE. “This facility is being built for the next 100 years of aerospace manufacturing. It represents the continuation of a longstanding manufacturing legacy and a commitment to delivering a modern, resilient facility designed for the future.”

Intended to be operational in 2028, the state-of-the-art facility will use the latest technology and automation to manufacture fasteners used in the global aerospace industry. Precis brings an integrated architecture and engineering approach to the project, aligning building systems functionality and architecture to support complex manufacturing operations.
