It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a cherished member of the Rogers Family, Mrs. Black.

Mrs. Black dedicated 30 years to education, including 22 wonderful years at Rogers. She always showed up with a smile on her face ready to greet every student who stepped through her door. Her unwavering commitment to our students left a lasting impact on generations of Rogers Cowboys.

Mrs. Black wasn’t just a teacher to us - she was family. Her impact will continue to be felt in the lives of countless students, families, and colleagues she inspired throughout the years.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, former students, and everyone whose life was touched by Mrs. Black. We are sharing her obituary below for those who wish to celebrate her life and honor her incredible legacy.

At Rogers we often say, “Once a Cowboy, Always a Cowboy.” Mrs. Black will always be a part of our Rogers family. Her legacy will live on in all that knew and loved her. ❤️
