Airport Raceway night 1 recap: Drew a 5 which put us on the pole for the heat race. After a kind of slow start getting the feel for a new track we finished third. Starting third in the A-main running nose to tail for 11 laps and a spin in the back of the pack brought out the caution. Green flag drops for the remained of the race and with two laps to go the leader clips the infield tire spinning and flipping just in front of us. With two laps left I chased the leader coming home second. Great night of racing. Going to go after those checkers again tonight.
