Welcome, Abby. We’re so glad you’re here.
Abby Smith is our 2025 summer intern, and from day one, she’s brought a mix of confidence, curiosity, and common sense that we already admire. She knows what she wants and asks good questions. What we love the most about her is the way she isnt afraid to tackle any of the projects we’ve thrown at her!
She’s also already best friends with Tug, our office dog—which tells you just about everything you need to know. Abby is easy to love.
It’s going to be a good summer.
Crown of Texas Hospice Foundation’s new website is up and we couldn’t be more proud.
Explore the new site at crownoftexas.org to learn more about their impactful work for local patients and families navigating the challenges of Hospice. Working with Sharla Valdez of Crown of Texas Hospice Foundation is a privilege and we are honored to contribute to causes that matter.
Thank you for trusting us to tell your story, Crown of Texas Hospice Foundation!

You guys. I'm blown away by your comments and support on my Brick and Elm article. Talk about motivation to get up and keep going -- Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Here's the deal: that was an ad for Nobox. I'm not famous or special. But when I read what some of the most amazing women I know had to say about me, I had an idea.
From now until we run out of exceptional women, Nobox Creative is going to feature the incredible women leaders of the Texas panhandle.
Do you know a woman we need to spotlight? Nominate them here: bit.ly/WomenLeadAMA

Leadership isn’t always easy. It’s messy, full of mistakes and a lot of growing pains. Hope you’ll take the time to read my full write up in Brick & Elm Magazine -Kim
Kim May didn't mince words in our recent “Leading Women” section, and we love it. We asked the owner of Nobox Creative about leadership opportunities for women in Amarillo:
“There are a lack of women role models in Amarillo. Our community needs bold women to step up, be visible and empower the next generation of leaders. It’s time to break the mold that says, ‘You’re too young or too old; you have to earn your place and pay your dues.’ Leaders have an opportunity to model leadership to other women. It’s the most beautiful gift we can leave to the people who are following our steps.” Read the rest of her profile and meet other leaders starting at p89: brickandelm.com/e-edition
