Living in the Presence of God

When King Jehoshaphat faced an overwhelming enemy, he didn’t allow fear to lead him. Instead, he turned his eyes toward God and declared, “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” — 2 Chronicles 20:12

Then, before the battle was won and before the answer came, the people worshiped.

That’s the beautiful lesson for us today. Worship shifts our focus from what troubles us to the One who is faithful. We may not know what to do or how things will work out, but we can choose where to fix our eyes.

Time spent in His presence is never wasted. As we worship, fear loses its grip, faith rises, and God changes us from the inside out.

We may not have the answer—but our eyes can still be on Him.

The Importance of Abiding in God's Presence

Good Morning Friends.

Are you weary? Do you feel drained by the weight of life and wonder how you got here?

Jesus offers us an invitation—not to try harder, but to come closer.

I often say, "You become what you behold."

Think about that for a moment. What has your attention? Who or what are you spending the most time with? Is it drawing you closer to Christ or quietly pulling you away?

Our Heavenly Father longs to spend time with us. In His presence we find peace, strength, wisdom, and the rest our souls have been searching for.

Jesus said,

"Remain in Me... apart from Me you can do nothing." — John 15:4–5

The Greek word μένω (menō) means to remain, dwell, continue, or make your home in. Abiding isn't an occasional visit with God—it's choosing to live close to Him every day.

When we remain with Him, He changes us from the inside out.

After all...

You become what you behold.

🤍 Pause and Ponder

What has been receiving most of your time and attention lately—and is it drawing you closer to God or quietly pulling you away?

Trusting God to Work Things Out for Your Good

The older I get, the more I treasure peace.

Life doesn't always unfold the way we planned. We face unexpected disappointments, unanswered prayers, and seasons that stretch our faith. Yet, through it all, one truth remains...

God is faithful.

Even when we can't see what He's doing, He is working behind the scenes with love, wisdom, and purpose.

Instead of carrying tomorrow's burdens today, we can choose to rest in the One who already holds tomorrow.

✨ *"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

Lay it down, my friend, and remember... God is already working things out for your good. ❤️
