I’ve been seeing these “busted canvas” pieces on Facebook lately… thought I would share this one I made a few years ago… I made it to put in the silent auction for the fund raiser Decorative Artists of Texas does every year. I had fun making it… nice to see other people makng them now.

Thought I would update our situation…We are ok …Our fence is gone…LOTS of tree damage… trees and limbs broken and down… gutters gone… water blew in under the patio doors… the pond is overflowing and water is almost up to the back gate....our power is off and probably will be for a day or 2 (I doubt it will be 13 days like it was in hurricane Ike)….the pump house door is broken in half, but it’s very cool at the moment and the birds are singing. My family is ok …My studio and Tommy’s shop are ok and we can cook on the grill … we are very good compared to some…so thank You Lord!

Dear Lord, we know that you are always with us and that you are our strength and refuge in times of trouble. We ask for your protection as hurricane Beryl moves toward us. We thank you for your protection for anyone in its path. We ask you to shield our families, homes and communities. Thank you for the peace that passes all understanding that only You can give.
Help us to make wise decisions. Lord help us find comfort in You- to feel your presence, and your protection. We believe we receive all we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen
