Modoc High CTE Program

The Advanced Welding students were able to “forge” the next generation in the shop last week! What a great experience for both elementary and high school students!

Fourth grade students from Mrs. Elder’s class at Modoc Elementary School visited the Modoc High School welding shop last week, joining the agriculture welding class for a hands-on learning experience.

Students in Advanced Ag Welding class completed 1F 7018 Welding certification tests in January.

Three students passed the test and are now certified!

Modoc Welding and Ag Mech students have been working hard on our FFA Christmas sale orders!! Our Agriculture Business class helped come up with the idea and the students in the ag shop are putting in the hours! They will be ready to distribute after Thanksgiving break!

The Alturas FFA Advanced Welding team competed at their first contest of the year yesterday! They learned a lot at the Shasta College Field day and ready for the next one!
