It's DAY TWO of 250 on the Mississippi in Alton! Come down to Rotary Park from 4–7 p.m. for live music, food and drinks, arts and crafts, face painting, and a balloon artist. Then, just a few steps away, stroll through Broadway's decorated shops and meet Thomas Jefferson, Betsy Ross and Abraham Lincoln for a festive patriotic experience. See you there!

250 on the Mississippi starts today at Haskell Park from 4:00-8:00PM! Enjoy a kids bike parade, kids donut hole eating contest, adult donut eating contest, face painting, arts and crafts, food and drink, live music and a GIANT cake to celebrate Duke Bakery's 75th birthday!

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY! Join us for Fireworks on the Mississippi to celebrate America's 250th birthday from 5-10 pm!

5 pm - Doors Open
Enjoy games, a chalk station, food trucks, cold beverages and more!

6:30 pm - The LustreLights take the stage to amp up the celebration!

9:30 pm - BIG Fireworks display over the Mississippi river

10:00 pm - Event ends

Not a fan of traffic?
No need to rush from the amphitheater, as a courtesy we are extending our beverage station for those who want to wait a bit before making their way to their vehicle following the event. Or enjoy a night out in Alton! Check out Argosy Casino Alton, just steps away from the amphitheater, or make your way to our downtown outlets and pubs just across the pedestrian bridge.
