If Jesus had shown up on time, nobody would remember that day.
Mary and Martha sent word. He waited anyway. He let the fever win. He let the tomb get sealed. Not because He was late, but because He was after something bigger than a healed man. He was after revelation.
A recovered Lazarus gets forgotten. A resurrected one gets written down for eternity.
The very thing the sisters fought to prevent became the stage for the clearest picture of who Jesus really is.
So maybe the delay isn't a denial. Maybe He's just waiting for the moment where what He does can only be explained by who He is.
