💛 Hope • Care • Support for Children and Families Facing Cancer
No family should fight cancer alone.

It all began with a song. Years ago, I had an old friend named Marie D. She had been battling cancer for many years. She was also deeply committed to helping children facing disability, trauma, and poverty. We often worked together, driven by a shared desire to make a difference. It was like her mission—doing something positive helped keep her alive. One day, she looked at me and said, “Sanford, why don’t you write a song about cancer?” I promised her that I would. It took me nine years to write the lyrics—not because I forgot, but because I didn’t want to create just any song. I wanted to write something meaningful and powerful, something that could bring hope, strength, and comfort to those who needed it most. Her love, compassion, and passion for children became the inspiration behind “Live Life Even With Cancer.” Although she is no longer here to witness this journey, I carry this mission forward in her memory—honoring her spirit by bringing hope, dignity, and healing to children and families facing cancer and other life changing challenges. 🎗️
