So today we begin our health journey together. You and I are gonna get in better shape and healthier.

This past weekend my wife and I went on a weekend cruise. It was an awesome getaway.

As a kid, my parents never had the money to go on cruises. In fact, my mom worked two jobs and my father three because he worked weekends to make as much money as he could for the family.

Someone asked me why did we take a weekend cruise? told them that I remember as a kid being excited when my parents took me to McDonald’s. That was a treat.

I didn’t take my first cruise til I was in my forties. To me, it’s a blessing that my wife and I can do this.

Sometimes we forget how blessed we are. I thank God for every day and for the opportunity to, through his grace, to enjoy time with my wife.

So yes, it was only three days. But three special days of memories that we made.

Let’s remember to thank Him for our blessings.
