St Johns, Walton and Flagler Counties grew in population with 4.8 to 7.0 percent increases in a single year. Florida has benefited in recent years from overall population shift in the US. But Covid-19 accelerated the move.

That means land is in very high demand with new transplants having a difficult time finding affordable properties.
