A lot of parents think custody cases are about proving the other parent is worse.... They're not.
The court is usually asking a different question:
👉 Which parent is more likely to support the child's relationship with the other parent?
👉 Which parent can provide stability and consistency?
👉 Which parent is making decisions based on the child's best interests instead of personal conflict?
Judges aren't looking for a perfect parent, they're looking for parents who can put their child's needs first, communicate appropriately, and create a healthy environment for their child to thrive.
In custody cases, it's often not about who is the "better" parent. It's about who is acting in the child's best interest. ❤️
Most business partnerships don’t fail because the idea was bad.
They fail because expectations were never clearly defined.
Who owns what?
Who’s responsible for what?
What happens if one person wants out?
How are profits split?
What happens if the business loses money?
The problem is… when it’s your friend, family member, or someone you trust, people skip the hard conversations because they assume they’ll “figure it out later.”
That’s usually when things get messy.
A strong contract doesn’t mean you don’t trust each other.
It means you care enough to protect the relationship AND the business before problems happen.
Before launching the business, signing the lease, or splitting profits… get the agreement in writing. ⚖️
