A band in Alpine, Texas circa 1905. I have so many questions about this photo. Like, what instrument did the man on the right play? That don't look like any kind of musical instrument that I'm familiar with! 🙂 And what kind of sound emanates from a band with a trombone, a fiddle, a harp and a guitar? I guess it doesn't matter. Joy is joy. And isn't the pursuit of harmony just as important as actual harmony?

Rolling G RV Park is a great place to call home. I currently have 6 monthly spots open this summer. I also have internet service upgrades getting installed at the end of June.

On December 26th, a panel of ancient petroglyphs in the Indian Head area of Big Bend National Park was irreparably damaged when vandals chose to boldly scratch their names and the date across the prehistoric art. If you have any information about the incident, or the persons involved, please contact the National Park Service.
