We are getting many angry comments regarding Zanger Security System from drone enthusiasts. First of all, Zanger helps to create a safe environment for law abiding drone owners. Secondly, these messages prove that people do need to take measures to protect their privacy from drones.

To everyone that questions Zanger's legality: Zanger Security is primarily a drone detection system. It recognizes delivery and other service drones and ignores them. The system only alerts the user if a drone hovers over the protected area. Zanger’s Drone Jammer is an OPTIONAL device which will be offered where its use is legal and to government and other agencies such as police, prisons and security. These agencies already use hand-held jammers. Zanger is much better choice since it operates automatically and is more effective. Even without the Jammer, Zanger Security is able to detect the presence of drones above the protected area and will alert the user. In some special cases like large specialty growers, ranchers and farmers may get a permit to use jammers on their territory.
Zanger Security is a modular system. You can pick and choose which devices you want in your system. Drone jammer is optional. We will not offer it where it is not legal. You will still be able to close your bedroom drapes when a spying drone is detected by your Zanger system.
