I’d like to introduce you to our newest grandson, Peter Frederic. He’s named after Saint Peter the apostle and Venerable Bishop Frederic Baraga. I think that’s a very good name, considering his father David is a geologist from Michigan. Peter means “rock” and Bishop Baraga has a town in the U.P. named after him. He also founded St. Bernard Catholic Church in Alpena where Peter’s mother Allison is from. Big siblings Joe and Maria love their new brother.
