Alpena Community College

TRIO Talent Search students recently explored careers in forensic science, law enforcement, and emergency medical services at CSI Summer Camp. From fingerprinting and DNA analysis to crime scene photography and evidence collection, students gained hands-on experience while working through mock investigations.

One of the highlights? A live rescue demonstration featuring the Jaws of Life, giving students an up-close look at the teamwork and skills required in emergency response.

Experiences like CSI Summer Camp help students discover career possibilities while building critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Congratulations to all 212 students who made the Dean's List for Spring 2026 Semester by earning a GPA of 3.5 or above. Of those 212 students, 34 earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. Great job, Lumberjacks!
