There's still room in our Teen Botanical Watercolor Postcards workshop with artist Elisa Mack, happening this coming Monday 6/22 from 2-4pm. Sign up today at wccls.bibliocommons.com/events/69d80d23b6c4ac1fedcb4b94 to secure your spot!
Participants will paint botanical postcards inspired by your favorite plants or flowers! We'll focus on the basic techniques essential for watercolor painting, including composition, brush technique, color mixing, and more.
No experience is necessary, all levels of artists are welcome to join! This workshop is for tweens and teens entering grades 6-12 in the fall.

David will discuss his new book, Black Film: A History of Black Representation and Participation in the Movies, which celebrates Black actors, films, and filmmakers, and explores the social forces surrounding Black filmmaking.
Bring your questions for Q&A! There will also be copies of the book available for purchase and signing.
