It’s southern style BBQ at Gratiot Community airport in Alma, Saturday August 20th from 11-2.

Another Young Eagles Day in the books! Pilots flew 25 young people, introducing them to the vast field of aviation, and the joy of flight. It was a perfect morning to fly!

A little light from the FAA in these crazy times

Yesterday the FAA released a policy statement that allows any pilot who holds a first-, second-, or third-class medical certificate that is valid on March 31, 2020, to continue operating under the privileges of that certificate until June 30, 2020. Another successful Young Eagles event- flying a number of students who attended the STEM camp at Alma College this summer, as well as other area kids. It was a beautiful day in this neighborhood!

Looks like a good morning to have a fly-in.... hope to see you all this afternoon!

Just a reminder the fly in is tomorrow at the airport.... We will have activities for the kids including a Rocket station where the kids can build and launch their own paper rocket
