Today didn't go quite as planned but Papa HoopStem gave me a cherry, we now have enough firewoord for winter and the new flock roosted in a tree.
Big storms came through then last night and did some damage! Wasn't expecting this when I came to check on the animals.
On second inspection, there are even more downed trees out front and on the hillside.
Maybe we wont have to buy firewood this year?

Two sleepy kitties! The HoopStems added some snuggles to our daily life with these two gorgeous rescued girls.
Sissy and Lil Bit aka Granny are settling in nicely.
There are so many nice napping spots how could they not!
