UAW Local 677 Veterans Committee

The Veterans Committee would like to thank everyone who came out to donate blood at the Union hall on March 3rd and to those who came out early to set up and spend the day. We had 30 people sign in and collected 22 units of life saving blood. Thanks also go out to the volunteers from Miller-Keystone Blood Center. We are always fortunate to have a friendly group of people who make the donation process go smoothly.

Also note that if you would like to spend the night, special room rates of $69.99 will be given.

A great fundraiser to look for next week inside the plant is our MEAT RAFFLE! Yes, that's right, not only do you have the opportunity to help a great local veterans charity but you might win meat for your generosity. The charity is the Keystone Warriors and the meat if from Trio Country Provisions. You couldn't possibly ask for a better reward for helping us raise money than some fresh grillables from Trio's.
If you work at the customer center you can see Pamela Hollinger for your tickets. Inside of the Macungie plant Mike Shupp and Mark Bogunovich will be the people to see. Micah Bennett at MLC (as soon as he returns to work) and of course Trio's themselves have tickets for purchase. Thank you in advance for your donation, it will go to help local veterans in need.

On behalf of the veterans committee I would like to thank everyone that came out to support our fundraiser this past Saturday. With your help, we raised $680 to benefit the Keystone Warriors. I hope everyone enjoyed the show as much as I did and look forward to sharing another night out with you all in the future.
