Lights In Greenawalds

PRESS RELEASE: Lights in Greenawalds to be extended an extra Friday and Saturday Night (12/26 & 12/27)

- Every year Lights in Greenawalds opens up within the first few weeks of November and runs to right before Christmas Eve. It has been this way since 2020. Prior to that from 2017-2020 it has ended the last weekend in December - similar to the others in the area.

This year they are bringing back the weekend after Christmas. “I don’t see any reason not to, and quite frankly this will probably stay this way moving forward to give everyone a final chance to experience Lights in Greenawalds.” Owner Mike Yellak said Wednesday.

“The weather has been cold and windy nearly every weekend, in the off chance it’s in the 40s with no wind, I’ll take that chance.”

“Also, something about the closing night on a Saturday Night feels more special anyways. Also gives more families the chance to come through since schools will be on a break”

He also said other Christmas attractions are open up until New Years, there is no reason why they can’t be with the team that is in place.

Aside from Santa Claus, all characters will be returning that closing weekend on Friday/Saturday (12/26 & 12/27).

This coming weekend is no longer the last weekend of Lights in Greenawalds, but rather the last weekend to see Santa Claus.

Santa Claus will be there every night this upcoming weekend - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Saturday 12/27

Every night is open from 5-8PM.
