Last week I attended the Taste of Cultures at Lovejoy High School. It was so nice to watch the community put on a rich display of inclusion. And I love running into former colleagues - great to see you Cyndi!

I’m a teacher. I believe policy should serve people—not insiders. I’m running to protect public education, strengthen working families, and bring accountability back to our government.

Spending time with Beto O'Rourke, someone I've looked up to for years, was meaningful to say the least! But hearing him acknowledge the importance of our campaign and the work happening in HD89 meant even more.

I'm so grateful for leaders like Beto and Vicki Goodwin who show up and support candidates putting in the work at the local level. And big thanks to the Richardson Area Democrats for last night's event💙

One of the coolest life experiences I’ve had in life - I got to vote for me and my friends today.

Last week I was invited to inform voters of the upcoming primary election at the Islamic Association of Allen. And I was lucky enough to have some great conversations while I was there.

I want to thank everyone for sharing their perspectives and their time. Especially to Sabir Wali and Saif Isalm whose welcome and warm hospitality humbled me.

Bigotry doesn’t represent HD 89. Everyone in our district deserves respect, not rhetoric.
