• Ask all roommates (human and dog) to join the meet and greet to make sure it’s a good fit for the entire home
• Don’t forget to ask landlords BEFORE bringing a new pet home to avoid heartbreaking situations
• Consider speaking to the staff or volunteers about the personality/lifestyle you’re interested in and let them help match you with a few to meet in the play-yards!
• If you bring a pet home, give them time to decompress. Safe calm space, secure crate, basic routines to help set everyone up for success!
