Today was a fun filled day.. first stop was Alice Professional Fire Fighters Local for a quick introduction (caught a pic during training) of Myself, My Platform and to extend a connection to our Brave firefighters that we are here if they ever need a donation or assistance. Second Stop was a donation drop off to Ben Bolt Fire Department for their Community Easter Event with 100 eggs and candy to fill, with the same extension of Communication and Collaboration. Last stop was to purchase items for Sandia Volunteer Fire Department as they will be hosting their fundraiser to acquire much needed funds as they are 100% volunteers. As your Next Clerk I believe that Emergency Services is a major importance to our area and building a clear and consistent line of communication is crucial to how efficient and effective services are or can be. Building a ladder between departments can help ensure paperwork isn't what divides us, investment in our brave firefighter from all around is just common sense because after all They Invest their lives for The People. Having a program that is easily accessible for not just school administrators but also Emergency Services is fundamental to efficiency.
As your next clerk I will be proactive in the office and in our communities because one effects the other!

Meeting this afternoon with our SREC about what's happening around the state and what our plans are going forward... As your next Clerk I believe it's important to not only give you access to your files but to build connections that can provide new ways to help our citizens with convenience to acquire documents needed quickly! In a County with fewer than 23,000 citizens and 4 main School districts I plan to help bridge the gap between our office and the districts while helping parents avoid unnecessary visits or finances.. How do you ask ? By building a connection between our School District Administration and Our Clerks Office ! By creating a new way for Administration to access Birth Certificates online during Registration Process for students.. Most students will stay in the same district throughout their school years and parents every year are faced with providing these same documents or new parents faced with acquiring them while dealing with students necessities like cloths and supplies, the cost can sometimes overwhelm citizens who are already struggling with finances. This program ensures all students birth certificates are verified once for the entirety of school years and helps administrators cut down the time it takes to complete registration.
It's time to collaborate and work with others to build a department that truly helps the citizens of JWC . This isn't a red or blue thing it's a people thing ! THE CLERKS OFFICE IS THE PEOPLE'S DEPARTMENT EVERYTHING IT HOLDS BELONGINGS TO YOU !
