🚨 : Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Atlantic Blvd. and Spruce St. When Officers made contact, the driver said he just wanted to get to In-N-Out. During the investigation, things got extra minty when Officers found narcotics hidden inside a gum container in the driver’s door.

As Officers searched his vehicle, they found a pay/owe notebook, multiple cellphones, and large amounts of cash. Ultimately, Jose Barreto of Los Angeles, CA, was craving a Double-Double, but the only combo he got was charges for possession, transportation, and sale of controlled substances.

🚨 : Officers responded to Citibank regarding a male who was trying to cash in a check for $3,800, allegedly from his godparents to pay his school tuition. When asked whose name was on the check, he replied with “Janet,” but the check said “Melissa.” Unless Janet is Melissa’s alter ego, the math wasn’t mathing.

According to the bank teller, the suspect tried to deposit the check, claiming to be “Alexander Fernandez” from Florida, complete with a Florida ID that was about as real as Monopoly money. When the check owner was contacted, she said she had no idea who Alexander was, nor had she written him a check, and she was not about to sponsor his tuition at the School of Fraud.

After the suspect was transported to APD Jail, he revealed his name wasn’t even Alexander; it was Travoir Walker of Los Angeles, CA. Ultimately, Travior was arrested for forgery, grand theft, identity theft, and possession of a fake ID. He really thought he was about to secure the bag, but all he secured was a certified L and a brand new booking photo.
