Really happy with how this Jace Beleren paint sketch commission came out! I honestly think these tiny paintings have fostered a majority of my growth as a painter over the last year in both color experimentation and technique. Costume exploration sketches are one of the first things I try to do with any fantasy painting. A lot of the details in these costume sketches for "Sharp-Eyed Rookie" were ultimately obscured because of the chosen composition and poses in the final work. But they were always in my mind and were a great way of getting my head around the characters.
