Room to grow: this year I spaced out my turnip plants more to see if I could grow bigger turnips. And it worked! I have fewer turnips but the ones I have look to be much bigger. Maybe less is more? When we have more margin and space in our life the things we are invested in can grow more fully.

Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Moody Theological Seminary (May 2025). She works with diverse clients of all ages, including Spanish-speaking individuals, using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework enriched with techniques like motivational interviewing. Katie is dedicated to fostering a safe, empathetic space where clients feel valued, find hope, and are empowered to transform their thoughts, emotions, and lives.

Katie also holds a Master’s in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship from Moody, is a pastor’s wife, and offers biblically integrated counseling for clients who desire it, helping them explore God’s role in their healing. Her passion for cultural connection is shaped by her multiethnic family—her husband is from India, and they have two vibrant bicultural children. Outside of counseling, Katie loves family travel, playing the cello, and spirited board game nights. She looks forward to meeting and supporting you on your journey!
