Ready Region Virginia offers an outstanding new website that helps providers connect with parents seeking quality child care. Together, Ready Region Virginia and Computer CORE helped bridge the gap between access to a powerful digital resource and the technology and skills needed to use it with confidence.

Today we honor Juneteenth, a U.S. holiday that commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas learned they were free—more than two years after slavery had officially been abolished. Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and opportunity. It also reminds us of the importance of access to information, since unequal access to information was one of many factors that limited opportunity and delayed freedom. At Computer CORE, we believe that access to technology, digital skills, and reliable information remains essential to full participation in society. As we commemorate Juneteenth, we reaffirm our commitment to helping ensure that everyone has the tools, knowledge, and connectivity needed to learn, work, and thrive.
