Agudas Achim Congregation is a community built on covenantal relationships between us and the Divine, and between each other. To further our mission of building community and strengthening relationships, AAC is offering monthly Shabbat Dinners. We invite members and non-members to join us for a delicious dinner catered by Signature on September 7th

Purim is almost here. Near the end of Megillah Esther, we read this is a time for “sending . . . presents to the poor.” Please fulfill this mitzvah of matanot l'evyonim: support AAC's Purim Food Drive for ALIVE!. When you come for megillah readings Saturday night and Sunday morning, bring easy-to-heat, easy-to-eat single serving foods (oatmeal packets, cereal bowls, tuna snacks, fruit cups, and mac ’n' cheese, for examples) for young kids whose parents work on weekends and for people with little or no access to full-service kitchens. Other basics like cooking oil, rice, pastas, or dried beans for the larger ALIVE! clientele are also welcome. You'll find a drop-off bin in the lobby just beyond the library door. No time to shop? Later donations can be placed in the back coatroom ALIVE! bin.

Prepare to have your heart lifted by the soulful music and meditative tefillah of inspiring musician and skilled educator Rabbi Yosef Goldman. This wonderful Shabbat experience will conclude on Saturday evening, January 27, at 7 p.m. with a concert featuring our in-house band, Ein Lanu Z’man.
