April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, an annual opportunity our agency uses to recognize the courage it takes to raise a child and increase awareness of programs and actions in our community that support families and safeguard children. "Growing a Better Tomorrow for All Children - Together" is this year’s theme for Child Abuse Prevention Month in Virginia. The theme highlights the role each of us shares in disrupting the cycles of child abuse, neglect and poverty by strengthening Virginia’s families and communities.
