A new Gospel conversation starter!

Events of the past few months have been weighing on my mind. Are these the end times? What's going on in America? As I have thought it, there are a couple of biblical truths that we need to focus on. First, the concept of privilege. None of us should ever look down on another person. We are all sinners. Rom. 3:23. Our best is as filthy rags. Is. 64.6. Christ died for all. Heb. 10. So, we have no cause to consider ourselves better than any other child of God. Second, we have no right to covet the bounty that others have received. Ex. 20:17. Coveting leads to bitterness and hate and those traits hurt us more than we can hurt anyone else. Our job is to submit to Christ and let His Spirit guide us. Christ came that we might have an abundant life content with the bounty that God has given us. John 10:10. And God has promised to meet our needs (not our desires). Philp 4:19. So, the answer to all of this discord is the answer it has always been, Trust in Jesus.

As we deal with this deadly virus it’s a reminder that none of us had immortality in this world. Maybe some of you are thinking eternally. Read Psalm 91 (it’s in the middle of the Bible) and have a talk with God.
