The Antique Connection Mall closed after 28 years of wonderful dealers, customers and merchandise.

Morning Glory's antique mall, The Antique Connection, is closing after thirty wonderful years. MORNING GLORY's WEB SITE IS NOT CLOSING, just our bricks-and-mortor store. We will really miss our dealers and customers, but we have an offer to buy the property that we cannot refuse.

There are lots of sales going on at the mall with both inventory and display cases on sale. Discounts go as deep as 50% off on some things, so don't miss it! The mall is at 12815 Central NE, Abuquerque, New Mexico, and we are open 7 days a week, M-Sat from 10-5 and Sunday 1-5.

wonderful things can be found at the Antiue Connection Mall in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on old Route 66. We have both men's and women's antiques and collectibles, and new things arrive every day! We are a 10,000 square foot mall with about 60 diverse dealers so plan to come in. It's well worth the trip!

At the Antique Connection Mall we have a large selection of stuffed animals, and many Steiif toys as well. The Steiff Toy Company was founded by Margaret Steiff in 1880 in Germany. She was stricken by polio as a child. Determined to support herself, she took sewing classes. She turned the machine around so that she could use her stronger arm to turn the wheel.
The first toy she made was an elephant. Her three nephews joined the every-expanding company and went on to produce dolls, bears and many other different animals. The toys are known as "button in ear" for the little stamped metal disk which was placed in the left ear of all her toys and marks them as genuine Steiff. Beautifully made of mohair and wool felt, these toys are often handed down from one generation to the next.
