Studio 1 Project Philosophy

Mission Statement: Studio 1 Project aids in the creation, demonstration & preservation of knowledge through teaching and applications of various artistic mediums.

Goals:
Striving for minimal impact to the environment.
Allow the individual support of major industries.
Create growth within ourselves and communities.
Unite local and global communities through artistic expression.

The Studio 1 Project is an idea centered around the individual. The project’s focus is on creating community centers for artistic expression, in the same way a community gym allows people to exercise their physical potential. The Studio One Community allows artisans the freedom to aspire to their artistic potential. Art helps creates awareness both internally and externally, transforming the abilities of humanity, creating connection and understanding. The world community is poised for change and positive growth.

The communal nature of the Studio 1 project allows for minimal impact to the environment. The energy footprint of the building is shared by multiple people, cutting down on the carbon output of these multiple artists . The Project will utilize the most efficient means of consuming energy & will continually strive to become more efficient. Reducing emissions in any form & recycling waste ensures vitality for the future.

By allowing community members the abilities to have larger buying power in any given market, the costs associated with their particular medium are reduced. Costs consist of overhead for retail & promotion, medical & liability insurance, raw material costs, sales & income taxes. Inside of the Studio 1 project artisans have access to a larger equipment base, artisans also have the help of a large community to aid in more ambitious work. This creates an artistic network that encourages progress in new and creative ways.

The idea to create growth within ourselves & communities, strengthens local and global infrastructure. When we as people have more access to creative expression, the walls of yesterday become nothing more than material in which to build a bridge to the future. Today these next generations have the potential to make change in unforeseen ways, with far reaching effects in the future . Studio 1 wants to inspire the un-inspired and support the un-supported giving power to the under empowered.

The corporate structure of the Studio 1 Project allows for marketing of an individual work through multiple community partners inside of the project. These partnerships encourage growth inside of the Studio 1 Community, fueling local and global economies. Art facilitates discussions and inspires questions, the more we can communicate the greater questions that can be answered.

Vision Statement: Studio 1 Project aspires to unite people locally, nationally and internationally through various mediums of artistic expression. It is this creative expression that allows for new forms of communication, that in turn allow for growth as both a people and a planet. This creates an economic and environmental revolution that will fuel the greater world community.
