HOW TO OBTAIN A FAMILY POOL PASS
The Family pass will be good for two adults and up to six children, and once approved, the family pass will be valid for a full year. (Example: Pass active 11/18/2026, expires 11/18/2027)

1. Create or log in to your account via www.play.cabq.gov
2. Enter the guardian’s and children’s information (Name, DOB, primary email, and phone #)
3. Email your foster home license or approval letter to [email protected] (must be currently active and legible)

The City of ABQ – PRD, Aquatics Division, does offer Swim lesson scholarships to obtain free lessons. Apply for the swim fund scholarship today! https://www.cabq.gov/parksandrecreation/recreation/swimming/shanta-strong-swim-fund

Our pinnacle event of the year, free fishing day for foster and adoptive families, was a smash success. Best day ever. Want to help create an unforgettable day for foster, adoptive, kinship, and guardianship families?

We're looking for volunteers to join us at the 2026 Foster Family & Friends Appreciation Picnic + Fishing Extravaganza at Tingley Beach!

💙 Help kids catch their first fish
💙 Assist with activities and family fun
💙 Welcome and support families from across New Mexico
💙 Great opportunity for civic groups, workplaces, churches, clubs, and community organizations

⚠️ All volunteers must complete a background check before the event, so advance registration is required. We cannot accept day-of volunteers.
