These past couple of weeks have been filled with lots of learning!

EleValle and staff from its partner organizations had the opportunity to attend the 2nd Annual Evaluation Lab Summer Institute where we all learned about logic models, creating rubrics, mission time, CBPR, data, and so much more!

EleValle also had a great opportunity to attend where we learned the craft of grant writing.

Lots of capacity building and brain growing over the last couple of weeks! We can't wait to put put all we learned into practice.

Please join us for a half day FREE symposium on the Root Causes of Addiction, led by people in recovery!

What: Community Discussion and Workshops on Addictions

When: Saturday June 22nd from 10 am - 2 pm

Where: South Valley Multipurpose Senior Center, 2008 Larranzolo Rd, SW

This half day event will include workshops on the Root Causes of Addiction, The War on Drugs, and Resilience.

The workshops will be led by talented facilitators who are in recovery.

Lunch and snacks will be provided. During lunch, Casa de Salud will provide an optional Narcan training and will distribute this lifesaving overdose prevention tool.

Childcare will be provided. Spanish interpretation available. The building is wheelchair accessible.

Únase a nosotros para un simposio de medio día sobre las causas fundamentales de la adicción, dirigido por personas en recuperación! Gratis!

Qué: Discusión comunitaria y talleres sobre adicciones.

Cuándo: Sábado 22 de junio de 10 am a 2 pm

Dónde: en South Valley Multipurpose Senior Center, 2008 Larranzolo Rd, SW

Este evento de medio día incluirá talleres sobre las causas fundamentales de la adicción, la guerra contra las dr**as y la resiliencia.

Los talleres serán dirigidos por facilitadores talentosos que se encuentran en recuperación.

Se proveerá almuerzo y meriendas. Durante el almuerzo, Casa de Salud brindará un entrenamiento opcional de Narcan y distribuirá esta herramienta de prevención de sobredosis para salvar vidas.

Se proporcionará cuidado de niños. Interpretación en español disponible. El edificio es accesible en silla de ruedas.
