Forward New Mexico

The two-party system is broken. It’s time for a change to something that works for you.
We are trapped in a cycle of division where the two major parties care more about winning the next election than solving problems for working New Mexicans.
But don’t give up hope. The only way to truly fix our democracy is to build something new from the ground up.
✨ Welcome to a new kind of political movement. ✨ Forward is the party of independent thinkers and coalition builders. We aren’t here to play partisan games—we are here to problem-solve, unite, and reform our democracy so it actually works for everyone.
But to make this vision a reality, we need to get Forward candidates on the ballot. You can find out more about our candidates on our website, and more candidates are joining every week--with new announcements soon.
📝 How You Can Help Right Now:
Our candidates are working around the clock to secure the 15,000 signatures they need to run for statewide office, and they can’t do it without you.
• The Goal: 15,000 valid signatures in two races with no competition without our candidates.
• The Deadline: June 22nd.
• The Mission: Give voters a real, independent choice on the general election ballot.
Don’t you want to elect candidates NOT tied to partisan talking points? If you are tired of the yelling and ready for action, gathering signatures is the first step. Our team will be petitioning at public events this weekend and next week, especially Primary Election Day, June 2nd, at polling locations near you. We need your help!
Let’s build a bridge to a better future, together. And remember, independent (declined to state) voters can vote for the first time in this primary. Let’s show everyone non-partisan voters can control election outcomes by showing up at the polls!

NM Forward Chair Bob Perls says county clerks are committing "malpractice" or "malfeasance" for failing to update websites and it’s another example of why county clerks should be elected on a nonpartisan basis. "What’s more important than letting 25% of voters know that they can vote? If you haven’t planned that months ahead of time, then it’s negligent.”
