🚨LAS CRUCES MASS SHOOTING UPDATE🚨

*4:30 P.M. UPDATE* Police just arrested a 15 year old this afternoon. That makes 4 total suspects in custody. It's unclear if there could be more arrests.

*EDIT* a third suspect has been arrested. Another 17 year old boy facing the same charges as the other two suspects.

Overnight Las Cruces police arrested two people in connection to the shooting.

- 20 year old Tomas Rivas (pictured)
- he's booked at the Dona Ana County Detention Center
- 17 year old boy (not ID'd yet)
- he was booked into the juvenile detention center

Both are charged with:

- 3 open counts of murder
- additional charges pending

Police identified the 3 victims:

- 16 year old Andrew Madrid
- 18 year old Jason Gomez
- 19 year old Dominick Estrada

Police say Madrid and Gomez died at the scene. Estrada was taken to Mountain View Regional Medical Center where he later passed away.

15 others were hurt
- ages 16-36
- 9 are male
- 6 are female
- police will not release their identities to protect their privacy

This is still an active investigation. We will update as we get more information.
